The Moser Group, Inc., Greystar and the Town of Indian Trail celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of The Hub at Downtown Indian Trail on the morning of July 24, 2020. Phase I of the project includes 350 Class-A apartment units and a 105-room hotel.
The Hub at Downtown Indian Trail is a fulfillment of the Town’s vision for a dense, walkable, “downtown” environment that will meet a housing need for new residents, including millennia’s, college students, workers at the new Atrium hospital, and other residents that have a need for safe, high-end rental housing.
The Hub is a crucial part of the Town’s plan to bring the terminus station of the Silver Line into Downtown Indian Trail. The station is contemplated at Chestnut Square Park and will provide direct connection into Uptown Charlotte and UNCC via light rail.
The Hub is a unique opportunity to create a dense, walkable node in fulfillment of the Town’s Downtown vision in a location that does not impact existing neighborhoods. The site is not adjacent to single-family homes, but rather is surrounded by Carolina Courts, Chestnut Square Park, the new Aquatic Center, and the future light rail stop. This project will also help clean up the I-74 frontage.
The Hub at Downtown Indian Trail is the beginning of the future of the town and will help to continue to create a vibrant, economically strong community where citizens can enjoy a high quality of life. The Moser Group partnered with Greystar, the global leader in rental housing to obtain their expertise on this Class A project.
We are excited to watch this project come to life!
