Over the holidays in December 2023, Atrium Health Union West celebrated the naming of the Dennis W. Moser Family Chapel. Elected officials and community members were invited to attend the ceremony honoring Dennis Moser, founder and president of The Moser Group, Inc.
A longtime resident of Union County, Mr. Moser was inspired to make a meaningful gift to the Union West campus. His family’s generosity will provide patients and families with a tranquil place for meditation, reflection, and prayer.
To make the dedication even more meaningful, The Moser Group, Inc was a part of original land acquisition and development of the Atrium Union West project.
Special guest speakers included Dr. Mike Whitson (“Preacher Mike”) and vocalist Rebecca Burke from First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. Students from Union Academy also sang Christmas carols for guests.
Here is a quote from Dennis’ daughter, Lexie Crouch, on what the dedication means to her-
“What a joy and blessing to see my earthly father’s work and generosity bring glory and honor to my Heavenly Father. I can’t help but think of the families, friends, and loved ones who will gather in this space coming before God, some who may have never spoken with Him before—to ask for the gifts that He so desires to give: hope, peace, blessing, miracles and comfort. A hospital is a place that people fight for their lives, bring lives into this world, and watch loved ones leave this world. I pray that this chapel brings so much hope and strength during those moments when these moments bring us to our knees. I pray that this chapel facilitates rejoicing in heaven when the kingdom grows here on earth and souls are captured by His glory and graciousness! That this kingdom work lasts beyond our generation, beyond Will’s generation, his children’s generation and beyond.”
